Vetiverol ex Vetiver Haiti
Vetiverol is the molecular distilled heart of vetiver oil and the raw material precursor for acetylated vetiver (vetiver acetate). Vetiverol is sweeter and softer than the acetate and, better still, it's completely unrestricted in use. Despite its name it is not a singular vetiver alcohol but rather the name given to the mix of naturally occurring alcohols inside vetiver oil.
Our vetiverol is extracted from the most beautiful vetiver oil and is the same type as that used by Ernest Beaux in No 5 for Chanel and Jean Paul Guerlain in Guerlain's Vetiver (demo formula below).
This is a perfect material for adding vetiver goodness without dominating a fragrance. It makes a wonderfully rich alternative to the various wood chemicals so overused in today's perfumes.
Note: the price of vetiverol has increased significantly due to the tumultuous events in Haiti.
