Cinnamon Bark Ceylon “Supreme” Oil

In the golden age of perfumery one type of cinnamon was king: cinnamon bark oil Ceylon with 60% cinnamaldehyde. Our “Supreme” oil is exactly that. No competing product comes close to the exquisite complexity imparted by our precious cinnamon bark oil. Any cinnamon with less than 60% cinnamaldehyde content is an inferior product.

Featured in such masterpieces as YSL Opium (1977), Dior's Poison (1985), and the treasure of the golden age, Jicky (1889) by Guerlain (along with many other Guerlain classics). This is the smoothest and most complete cinnamon bark. It's fullness and subtle nuances even surpass that of modern CO2 extractions! One whiff will transport you to the wild jungles of faraway Ceylon. This is the gold standard of cinnamon extracts.

Blends beautifully with sticky fruit notes (particularly plum), resins and balsams.

Origin: Ceylon (Sri Lanka)
Part: Bark only
Method of production: Steam distillation at source
