Bouvardia was an iconic 20th century De Laire base of citrus with orange flower and jasmine nuances. Beloved by Francois Coty and used skillfully in L'Origan (at 0.8%), it is now available to the market for the first time in decades.

It hints at the highly scented notes of both flowers and due to its somewhat ambiguous nature blends beautifully with many other floral materials. It is a wonderful nuancer for top notes based on bergamot and it is beautifully at home in oriental types. 

This early De Laire base is more of a citrus top note base than a heart base, making it a rather unique product.
