Animusk Extra is our restoration of Chevral, the incredible base by Bernard Chant which he used in numerous fragrances. Animusk contains natural animal musks and is IFRA and EU compliant.

This base is, in our opinion, the finest animalic musk ever created, far surpassing Animalis (our Animalia™ CMP). 

In small amounts this base imparts a wonderfully elegant and smooth animalic note, far gentler and kinder than pure animal musk but decidedly more interesting than synthetic musk.

It was used in the great Aramis, Van Cleef and Arpels for Men, Drakaar Noir, Kouros and many others.
